Changing subscribers alias

Hello,

I know this has been discussed before but I can't find the information on it. I need to change several subscribers aliases. We have exchange and AD on box. I was under the impression you could just change the Alias in AD Users and Computers and the changes would be picked up by Unity and replicated into SQL. I tested this 3 days ago and the change still isn't reflected in SAWeb. i can still receive VM for this user but Unity displays a different Alias than what is in AD. What am I missing here?

I think the problem here is that in AD there's lots of fields that are taken to mean "alias" and the one your changing is not the one we're showing - I believe Unity maps our "Alias" column in the subscriber table to MailNickname in AD.

Ahhhh, me no confused any more. Thanks for the info.

For the record, you must change the Alias field on the Exchange General tab to have the change reflected in SAWeb. Give it a couple minutes to pick up the change.
