Our company recently went through a merger. We built a new CUCM 10.5.2 deployment and currently have a sip trunk to the other company's CUCM 8.6. However, we are going to be merging the phone systems soon with our CCM being the pub. They have an Enterprise Attendant console server. It is version 8.6.1.9. I've found some compatibility information for this but not much for CUCM 10.5.x.
Will we need to rebuilt the Attendant console server, and upgrade to something new like 10.5? We only need to bring it over because they still use it. It will not be used on our campus. I also was not able to find much information on upgrading the Attendant console from 8.6 to 10.5.

Correct, only 10.x ACs are compatible with CUCM 10.x+, I suggest you review all that information on the CUACA main documentation site on cisco.com

Pls go through the below doc prior any upgrade, since its an major upgrade you have to get your new license activation code before performing your upgrade. also pls go through the compatibility of advanced/standard version of console server, below doc covers the advanced version.

Ok, that's what I figured. They don't have a resilient setup currently. We are east coast they are west, will we want to have the physical Attendant Console server on their campus or ours next to the Pub? They have subscriber there for our pub already and latency doesn't seem to be a problem. It's about 100 ms RTT.

That IS a problem, if it's consistently over 80 ms RTT for CoW we won't support that.

Is it possible for Attendant console to communicate with a CUCM subscriber or does it have to be the publisher? They (on the west coast) have a subscriber on prim.
