CIsco IP PHone 8841 line 2 display issue

Hello all,

 

I have below setup and recently upgrade from version 9.1.2 to 10.5.2 and it showing some issues:

CUCM 10.5..2  -----1 pub and 2 sub

 

on 8841 ip phone, i configure second line as extension mobility button. but on ip phone it is not displaying that button when view the ip phone.

but when press the second line button, it provide details to login in mobility and after adding details it logged in successfully.

!

how can i fix this and view the mobility button on second line?

We just started having this issue to... Some off our call center agents use Extension Mobility and on three phones, the second line is missing even though their UDP profile has it programmed.  If you press the second line button on the phone, then it appears.  We have had multiple user use extension mobility on these phones and it happens to them all.  Once they go back to a different phone, it doesn't have this bug.

OK so we got the work around in place.... You have to factory reset the 8841 cisco phone, then it will work again with extension mobility.  Both lines now appear on the phone as they should.
