Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance - INACCESSIBLE

Hi,

I setup a testing Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance (CPCA) with Advanced version, which connected with two CM clusters both is the 10.5 version.
The result is one CM cluster can be monitored, but the second CM cluster cannot be monitored. The fail CM showed the Discover Device on CPCA as the below error: (Showed one of EX90 cannot be accessed, then all devices cannot be monitored?)

One CM success: (CM1 assurance domain)

Second CM fail: (CM2 assurance domain)

Any idea on that?

Hi,

Just a guess:

check for snmp ports being blocked for this cluster across firewall.

regds,

aman

Did you solve your issue ?

I need to confirm that Prime assurance can monitor more than one CUCM cluster as per "System Capacity for Cisco Prime Collaboration 10.5"

System ParametersSmall OVA
- 3000 endpoints
Medium OVA
- 20000 endpoint
Large OVA
- 80000 endpoints
Very large OVA
- 150000 endpoint
Cisco Unified Communications Manager Clusters31020

50

Also I need to confirm that the same 3rd party billing system can integrate with 2 different CUCM clusters

Thanks

Haitham

Hi

You have to check this three points:

  1. snmp community has to be created on CUCM Cluster
  2. Add the correct http user during the discovery
  3. jtapi user for CPC has to be creared on CUCM Cluster

Remember to add only the IP from Publisher Server to the discovery

Regards

Arthur

You also want to make sure Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance VM IP address is allowed on the SNMP configuration on CUCM
