Upgrading to Cisco Unified Communications Manager Release 8.0(1) from Release 6.1(2) and Later

You can download non-bootable ISO images; however, you'll still need to place a PUT order to get the 8.0 feature license.

Hi,

I want to download the software through Cisco downloads for the up gradation. I have selected IP Telephony- Cisco Unified Communication Manager – Cisco Unified Communication Manager Version 8.0 – then what I have to select there is so many options like Inter Media convergence software, Recovery Software, device packages but I don’t find there the upgrade version or Call Manager 8.0 version. Please tell me anyone which one I have to select to download.

Unified Communications Manager / Cisco Unity Connection Updates is the correct option. Just to reiterate this point: you still must place a PUT order to receive your 8.0 feature license. This requires an active UCSS contract. None of the services will start following the switch version if you do not have a valid feature license.
