Hi,
i have a strange problem with CUSSM 1.2 license. My company purchased a 3000 phones license and i received 2 .lic files. I put both files in the right directory (C:\Program Files\CUSSM\pw\licenses\cisco\etc\licenses), restart service but the software seems able to read only 1 file. When i go to the Web Interface and see the license i read the worng count...this is my situation:
- 1 .lic file with 1000 phones license
- 1 .lic file with 2000 phones license
- the files are both valid because, if i insert only one at time, i see the correct values (1000 and 2000)
- the problem is that, if i put both of them in the directory, i see the 1000 phones license only.
- it seems like the software is unable to read 2 .lic file toghether.
- i tried to cancel the demo .lic file from the directory but it doesn't work
There is a strange behaviour: the total license count is 1250 (not 1000): it seems there is another license that raises the count by 250 but, at same time, causes worng license calculation.
Is there anyone who had the same problem ?
Thank you

Hi Roberto,
It really sounds like this bug;
CSCth07589 | Upgrading from Service Statistics Manager 1.2 requires you to have an upgrade license. | When upgrading to Service Statistics Manager 1.3, you are required to apply an upgrade license. This is not correct. You should not have to apply an upgrade license. Workaround: Apply the SSM1.3CSCth07589-1.0 patch. The patch is located at Note |
Cheers!

Hi Roberto,
Before you do anything else, I would contact;
Give them your PAK #'s and MAC etc. and ask them to combine the
2 license files into 1 file
Cheers!
