We are setting up a Unity 11.5 Active Active cluster with two phone systems (PhoneSystemCUCSUB and PhoneSystemCUCPUB).
PhoneSystemCUCSUB will have the ports assigned from CUC Subscriber
PhoneSystemCUCPUB will have the ports assigned from CUC Publisher.
Basically we want all users will use the Ports on CUC subscriber and if subscriber goes down the CUC Publisher takes the call. But while setting up ports for a phone system we can only choose a specific CUC node , i am not sure how this will work ?
When we setup a user in CUC, we can only assign it to a single phone system. Lets say a User X has been assigned to PhoneSystemCUCSUB . In that case CUC Subscriber will handle the calls from user X .
Now if the CUC Subscriber goes down , will CUC Publisher will start handling calls for user X even though user C is assigned to the PhoneSystemCUCSUB ? Or do have to change the user phone system to PhoneSystemCUCPUB?
