Cisco Unity (Windows) MWI not working/Doesn't Refresh.

Good Morning All

We have an issue which we have been working on for a while and we cannot come to the bottom of this.

The background to the issue is that the customer changed their Domain Controller in their AD and now we have found that MWI does not work for their Cisco Unity Box. This is old style Cisco Unity.

We sought advice from cisco documentation such as the following - but as yet cannot find a resolution.

After some investigation - we found that the Unity Server couldnt resolve the Domain Controller name via DNS.

We then got the server to resolve the Domain Controller by adding an entry to the Hosts file and then attempted to re-synch MWIs.

This didnt work - The issue still remains.

Secondly, we removed the entry from the Hosts File and then again rebooted, and with the explicit provision of a DNS record for the new domain controller, we found that the unity server (which now can resolve the DC via Hostname), is still not displaying MWIs.

Can you engineers please point me in the right direction?
