Cisco XCP XMPP Federation Connection Manager stops for no reason

On Cisco Unified CM IM and Presence Administration 10.5.2.20000-1 the Cisco XCP XMPP Federation Connection Manager service will just stop running and I must go in at least once every two weeks to restart the service.  Has anyone heard of this happening or know of the fix?  Thank you.

Hi,

You can check if there are any cores being generated on the server by running the following command

utils core active list

Also, it looks related to the following bug which was recently opened for similar issue ( although the service restarts automatically in this case )

You may need to engage TAC for further analysis.

Are you actually running something that requires federation, ie a connection with MSFT or something similar?
