Attempting to configure CUBE to provide a PRI-style trunk w/D-Channel over IP via H323.
The dial peer and H323 connectivity has been established but the service provider is telling me the Nortel CS2100 is expecting d-channel signalling over the IP-trunk.
Anyone have a config example or reference? TIA

There is no concept of a D channel in H323. All signaling occurs via H.225 on TCP port 1720 between the two H323 gateways.
We have a concept of transmitting D channel information transparently in an RTP payload via a trunked IP connection, which is referred to as TCCS. But the relies on the fundamental principal that there is something on the other side decoding it back to a TDM D-Channel. It's bassically only used in this scenario:
PBX1----t1-----GW1-------VoIP----GW2---t1----PBX2
If you clarify your topology from end to end, we may be able to help more.

Apparently to get D-channel signaling on the H323 trunk over IP will take an additional card to create the virtual PRI. Not the most elegant solution but we'll see if It works.
