CUBE License

Hi Experts,

In what instance will I use CUBE license? and is it counted per concurrent session?

Do I need it for the following?

1. CUCM <-> SIP <-> CUBE/VG (ISR/CSR/ASR) <-> ISDN

2. CUCM <-> H323 <-> CUBE/VG (ISR/CSR/ASR) <-> ISDN

3. CUCM <-> H323 <-> CUBE/VG (ISR/CSR/ASR) <-> SIP ITSP

4. CUCM <-> SIP <-> CUBE/VG (ISR/CSR/ASR) <-> SIP <-> CUBE <-> SIP <-> CUCM

I am confused on what scenario is this CUBE licenses used. Please help me enlighten. Thank you.

The CUBE licence is needed where the gateway connects one IP call leg to another IP call leg.  Doesn't matter if it's SIP or H.323.  So you need it in scenarios (3) and (4). 

One CUBE Standard Trunk licence supports one concurrent call through the CUBE.
