Hello there, We have to upgrade a existing platform from CUCM V8.6 to CUCM V10.5, our customer have UCSS contracts to date and we need the support to make sure if the current licenses will fill the requirement, the thing is that they came from older DLU licensing system plus some users that they have on CUWL, cisco gave to many DLUs for standard users, the client configure more phones for other users with this dlu, how can we count they "phones"that will be licensed for V10?

Hi,
You just need to run the LCU tool which can be downlaoded from Cisco site. You need to run on a PC from where Publisher is reachable
The CSV report would contain details of MAC address, Installed/used DLUs/unsed DLUs.Also, the same would would have a breakup of licenses required by users with Essential /BASIC/UCL enhanced/Enhanced Plus/ CUWL Standard.

Hello Aman, We know that part, the thing is how to know if the phones are licensed? if you buy to Cisco a CUWL Standard User on V8 Cisco gave you like 300 DLUs , the client configure 5 phones for different users, how to know if they have this phones correctly licensed? CUCM don't gave information about that.

what is the phone model u have registered to CUCM 8 after u uploaded 300 DLUs?
You can check the same in system ---licensing unit report[DLU total, units consumed and balance available]
