CUCM 12.5 wallpaper test 8800 series

Is there a way to test wallpaper graphics on 8800 on one phone without publishing it globally?

I know there is the List.xml that list the graphics.  I am not sure if there was a way to publish to one phone prior to releasing it.

instead of list option try common phone profile option.

Create a new common phone profile and change the background image on the profile and apply it on single phone.

so can I just upload the image and do it from common phone profile without having to restart the TFTP and update the List.xml?

After uploading the files you must restart the Tftp 

but without an list you can do it with common profile.
