CUCM 4.3.2 and SRTP

Hi there

please i need an help and information about my case , i really didn't know where to post this problem .

I'm a CCVP certified , here at my work they asked me to implement security in a Call Manager 4.3.2 enviroment.

Do u know if Cisco still supports it in case i need help and where can i buy the Cisco token usb key needed to create the CTL file ? or u know please who can i contact for these kind of informations?

AFAIK the tokens are the same so you shoud stil be able to buy them.

4.3 is still supported

End-of-Life Announcement Date	The date the document that announces the end of sale and end of life of a product is distributed to the general public.	July 27, 2010
End-of-Sale Date	The last date to order the product through Cisco point-of-sale mechanisms. The product is no longer for sale after this date.	January 25, 2011
Last Ship Date:App. SW	The  last-possible ship date that can be requested of Cisco and/or its  contract manufacturers. Actual ship date is dependent on lead time.	April 25, 2011
End of SW Maintenance Releases Date:App. SW	The  last date that Cisco Engineering may release any final software  maintenance releases or bug fixes. After this date, Cisco Engineering  will no longer develop, repair, maintain, or test the product software.	January 25, 2012
End of New Service Attachment Date:App. SW	For  equipment and software that is not covered by a service-and-support  contract, this is the last date to order a new service-and-support  contract or add the equipment and/or software to an existing  service-and-support contract.	January 25, 2012
End of Service Contract Renewal Date:App. SW	The last date to extend or renew a service contract for the product.	April 22, 2013
Last Date of Support:App. SW	The  last date to receive service and support for the product. After this  date, all support services for the product are unavailable, and the  product becomes obsolete.	January 31, 2014

regarding configuring security in a CUCM 4 scenario, it is almost clear but do you know how many cisco usb token do i need for configure a CTL file? becouse this aspect is not so clear

Hi Antonio,

You will need a minimum of 2 etokens

Caution You need a minimum of two security tokens the first time that you configure the

client. Do not insert the tokens until the application prompts you to do so. If you

have two USB ports on the workstation or server, do not insert two security tokens

at the same time.
