CUCM DID number is not directing to Extension

TM13
Level 1
Level 1

Hi,

I added additional DID number on our current CUCM, but it is not directing to the extension, it is directing to the current number auto answer, any idea?

Voice Gateway config:

!

dial-peer voice 1 pots

service aa

incoming called-number 99112233

!

dial-peer voice 2 pots

incoming called-number 99112234

direct-inward-dial

!

Translation Pattern on CUCM

Translation Pattern - 99112234

Called Party Transform Mask - 2234

Calling Party Transform Mask - 2234

Extension 2234 is our group number,

Any additional config needs?

Hi Tulga,

1>     Create a Translation Rule from 5 digits to 4 digits.

2>     Remove Prefix Digits currently set on PRI config page and change significant digits from 0 to 5. Save, Apply and Reset.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi Tulgabat,

Can you post the entire gateway config please? Assuming you are using a PRI for PSTN access, kindly configure the following debugs and attach them along with the config:

debug isdn q931

debug voip ccapi inout

Please mention the calling and called party numbers.

Hi Tulgabat,

I see what the issue is. Both the E1s are MGCP controlled and are registered to the CUCM. Dial-peers wont help on the gateway. You would need to ensure that you map the called number 99112234 to 2234 on CUCM itself. On the gateway config page for E1 0/0/0 (Call Routing Information - Inbound Calls --> , how many digits is it configured to receive, 4 or all? Are there any translation patterns that are configured and are getting matched? These are some things to look out for.

HTH.

--
Regards,
Harmit.

Actually i tried to do it on Call Routing-> Translation Pattern->

that first configuration, what else need to be done on CUCM?

Where can i check that receive digits number? at the moment i just need to forward one DID to one extension, do you have gmail chat?

Hi Tulgabat,

Go to Device --> Gateway --> Find this gateway in the list and select the endpoint E1 0/0/0 --> Scroll down and look for

Call Routing Information - Inbound Calls --> Significant Digits. What is it set to?

Regards,
Harmit.

Hi Tulga,

1>     Create a Translation Rule from 5 digits to 4 digits.

2>     Remove Prefix Digits currently set on PRI config page and change significant digits from 0 to 5. Save, Apply and Reset.

Let us know how it goes.

HTH.

Harmit thank you for your support, it is working perfect.

Glad to hear that my friend, see you around! :-)
