Hi,
According to page 15, points 7-8-9, on the following document
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/elmuserguide/9_1_1/license_migration/CUCM_BK_CBF8B56A_00_cucm-license-upgrade-guide.pdf
You are required to re-install the complete cluster after upgrading to 9.1(1) and taking a DRS backup.
Is this really neccesairy? This would cause a tremendous downtime period.
Can someone please confirm or inform me otherwise?
Regards,
Erik Tamminga

Hi Erik,
The referenced document and the steps within are specifically for migrating to 9.1 AND moving form a MCS to VMware platform.
There's no required re-install when upgrading to 9.1 and staying on the same platform (MCS or VMware).
HTH,
Kevin
