Hello Team,
One of our customer has purchased cucm 7.1 with UCL Enhanced for 1000 users with 3 years UCSS and ESW. Customer purchased this first set of 1000 user license in 2010 October. Also the customer purchased total of 2000 user add on UCL Enchanced license in 2012 with 3 years UCSS and ESW. So the UCSS for first 1000 users has expired. and for the remaining 2000 users is still active till 2015.
Customer would like to upgrade to CUCM 9.X. Following are my questions.
1. is the customer UCSS still active?
2. If the answer is Yes for the above question, is the customer eligble for the CUCM 9.x Upgrade free of cost.
3. If UCSS is expired, Do we need to prepare a migraition quote for 3000 users or only for the 1000 users whose UCSS has expired.

Check UCSS by emailing ucss-support@cisco.com providing your contract numbers. If you also have your sales order numbers provide those also. Generally speaking the UCSS team can validate your questions.

I would contact UCSS team or Contract Management team. There is and UCSS contract Re-Instate option if UCSS has expired.
