CUPC 8.5(3) CUC 8.6 rejected credentials

Hello,

I am running CUCM 8.6, CUC 8.6, CUPS 8.6 and CUPC 8.5(3). When I login to CUPC i get "The server has rejected the provided credentials."

The system has IMAP licenses and from the Licenses page it show that they are used. Users have the following features checked in the class of service:

• Allow Users to Access Voice Mail Using an IMAP Client and/or Single Inbox
  • Allow IMAP Users to Access Message Bodies
• Allow Users to Use Unified Client to Access Voice Mail
• Generate SMTP Proxy Address From Corporate Email Address

Show server help shows the Voicemail is connected (had to change that on port 80/HTTP) but Voice message store is rejected ont port 143/TCP.

Users are LDAP imported in CUC and also LDAP authenticated.

I have followed the Presence Deployment guide and I am a bit stuck so any help will be appreciated.

It just worked

admin:utils os secure status

OS Security status:             enabled

Current mode:                   enforcing

admin:

admin:utils os secure permissive

OS security mode changed to Permissive

admin:

admin:utils os secure status

OS Security status:             enabled

Current mode:                   permissive

P.S. Can we get some more info on what does this command actually do and are there any security issues that should be concerned? Turns SELinux off?

Hi Guys,

I have upgraded 8.5.1 base version to 8.5.1SU3 to fix another bug but now I am running into this silly bug.

For some reason "utils os secure status" command is just not there in this version of CUC

I am trying to avoid another upgrade to 8.6...

Any tips would be much appreciated
