The Cisco UP Presence Engine remains in a status of [starting]. I have stopped the service, restarted the service, rebooted the server....it will not move to a 'running' status.
Without some more details, it's difficult to tell what might be happening here. Is this a fresh install or an upgrade? Is it a CUP cluster or a single-server deployment? Is the connection to the CUCM cluster ok? Did it ever work or has there been any changes to the environment?
Turns out the hostname was incorrect. TAC had to do their root magic and change it in a couple .cnf files. All is good now.
