CUPS 8.5 Turning on Persistent Chat, Affects to Ad-hoc?

Does turning on persistent chat, and using managed chat node aliases.... override/disable ad-hoc chat?

Currently we are only doing ad-hoc chat.  Looking at my settings, the check box for "System automatically manages primary group chat server aliases" is checked, and we have persistent chat off.

I'm getting ready to turn persistent chat on, with all other DBs and configs set... and we plan on Managing chat node aliases.

Turning OFF the "system automatically manages..." feature is required to do that.  What's the impact then on ad-hoc chats?  Is ad-hoc chatting no longer allowed once persistent chat is turned on?

Hi

No, it's a seperate feature and ad-hoc IM is completely unaffaceted.
