Hi All,
We have a setup with CUCM 10.5 and two Expressway pairs in two DC's. The Expressway-C and Expressway-E pair in DC1 is used as primary, the pair in DC2 as backup only. There are two SIP trunks from CUCM - one to Expressway-C in DC1 another one to Expressway-C in DC2. These two SIP trunks are grouped into a Route Group with the trunk to DC1 as the first choice. If we loose Expressway-C in DC1 than the SIP trunk goes down and all new calls are sent to DC2 pair. This is great! But if we loose Expressway-E in DC1 the SIP trunk to Expressway-C in DC1 is still up and as a result all calls are sent to nowhere. So the question is if there is any way to signal the CUCM that Expressway-E in DC1 is down and that all calls must be sent to DC2?
Thank you.

You need to do this at the Expressway level.
In your Traversal Zone configuration, tell both Expressway-Cs about both Expressway-Es. That way, if an Expressway-C can't contact one Expressway-E, it'll contact the other.
