DHCP and SIP phone in CUCM Cluster

Hi,

I have a BE6K with one publisher and one subscriber callmanager for 250 ip-phone.

- My first question is for using the internal DHCP of my cluster: CUCUM pub: 10.1.1.5  CUCM sub: 10.1.1.50

In publisher I activate internal DHCP with this information for DHCP Server:

Host server: 10.1.1.1

Primary DNS: 10.5.2.1

Primary TFTP: 10.1.1.1

For DHCP Subnet:

Host server: 10.1.1.1

Primary DNS: 10.5.2.1

Primary TFTP: 10.1.1.1

Primary Start IP : 10.1.2.1

Primary End IP: 10.1.3.254

Primary TFTP: 10.1.1.1

The CUCM subscriber has recovered the same settings as the publisher, I have sip devices (SPA302) and when subscriber takes over this devices do not receive IP address.

I have forgotten something ? Do I have to add IP of CUCUM sub on Second TFTP server?

Thanks

Hi,

You should configure DHCP server on the subscriber as well.

On subscriber with IP address 10.1.1.50 i only have a DHCP server with IP 10.1.1.1 (Publisher IP)

I must add a DHCP Server with IP of my subscriber 10.1.1.50 that's what you mean?

Joey.

Hi Joey,

Yes, that is correct.

Hi,

I do this but my third party device still not getting IP from my subscriber.

In configuration of my third party device (SPA302) i give my proxy ip address wich is the publisher 10.1.1.1 how to tell him to go to the subscriber?
