Emergency Alerts

CUCM 12.5

We are seeking a way to send emergency alerts (screen messages, live or pre-recorded voice messages) to a subset of phones at once using CUCM.  From what I can see, CUCM has an built-in option to integrate with Informacast and have read up on MARS, however, I am wondering if anyone has accomplish this or is aware of any built-in features in CUCM without using a third-party app?

CM doesn’t have this kind of functionality on its own.

Singlewire Informacast is perhaps the most common add-on product for this. Cisco OEMed it for Cisco Paging Server but it’s a freemium offer where you’re limited to 50 phones total as paging recipients. Above that you need normal Informacast licenses.

We are really only seeking to send the alert to a set of phones, so the paging server option should fit the need for us here. Thank you!
