I'm reading the Unity 4.04 installation guide. It says that you must install Exchange 2003 administration software on the Unity server when setting up the box for Unified Messaging with "off-box" storage. Does that Ex2K3 CD come with Unity (like it did with Ex2K and Ex5.5), or do I need to buy that directly from Microsoft?
Thanks in advance.

When you buy Unified Messaging, cisco does not provide you with exchange licenses. I don't know if the CD-set include Exchange 2003. If you already have exchange 2003 installed, you can just run the admin tools right off the same cd.

We don't provide an Exchange 2003 CD. You will need to provide your own Exchange 2003 CD to install the System Manager on the Unity server. Note that installing the System Manager doesn't not require additional licensing from Microsoft but the assumption with UM is that you already have an existing messaging infrastructure. Has Hin said, Unity doesn't not include a copy of Exchange licensed for email purposes.
Thanks,
Keith
