Having a Unity Subscriber with No Physical Phone

Greetings,

I am wondering how I can setup a Unity Subscriber for users that don't actually have a physical phone assciated to them but do have a Exchange Mailbox. For instance we have some users that do not have phones but we would still like to provide a VoiceMail box for them so that they could have VM's left for them. Is there anyway that I can set this up with Unity and CallManager 4.0?

Thanks,

Joe.

If you don't need to send them directly to vm (sending callers to sub via opening greeting by extn), just create the subscriber.

If you need to forward them to vm by dialing into a number, then create a dummy phone and dummy extension and forward all to VM. Set the sub to have the same dummy extn.

The sub can then dial unity directly, and press * to sign in.
