Help with hybrid deployment

I have a customer that currently has CUCM/CUC in the cloud (ie HCS) and jabber in the cloud (ie Webex Messenger).  Customer only wants to move CUCM/CUC on-prem and keep jabber in the cloud. 

Question:  is there any special config needed for jabber to work in this deployment?

This would be a jabber hybrid model.

I guess my question would be what all jabber services would the user be provided with.

You should read about Mobile and Remote Access (MRA) which would require expressway-C and E to let the jabber make vpnless connection the cucm on prem.
