How to configure outgoing calls through multiple pstn lines?

Hi,

I have a Cisco CME runing on an ISR 2821 with 2 pstn lines setup for outgoing calls. I want to add the appropriate command lines so that the calls can be balanced between the 2 lines: outgoing calls should go once through the 1st line and once through the 2nd one

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

Ihssan

hi ihssan

hoping that you can use the hunt group to achieve that

like setting the preference in each one of the dial peer

It would probably be better to define a trunk group (named POTS perhaps) and then on the voice-port configuration associate the ports to the trunkgroup in order of preference of their use (lowest numbers are most preferred) and then configure your outgoing POTS dialpeer to use the trunkgroup name you created.
