how to create segregate CTI ports in CUEAC

Hi All,

CUCM version: 7.1.5.33900-10

CUEAC version: 8.6.2.11 (Evaluation)

I have installed CUEAC and integarted with CUCM. Operator is located at two main location. I have independent partition and css for this location.

While creating CTI ports, I created a new partition and CSS assigned to them using template from CUEAC which is synced with CUCM.

New CSS in included with needed  partitons of both locations

My issue is that there is RP (xxxxxxxxxx) for local call for both these sites. Since I created a common CSS for CTI ports, local call will always route to RP whose partition is first in the CSS

So I am main looking for how to segregat CTI ports dedicated to two sites

Though I tried manually changed the partiton and css of CTI ports from CUCM it is not working as expected.

I would like to know if we can create different CTI groups in CUEAC server like in CCX server.

If not let me know what is feasible solution for this.

High appreciate if some can guide me!

Thanks!

Sanoop

Hi Sanoop,

The feature you need for this is Queue Device Groups, unfortunately this is a new feature in V9.x.

With the CUCM version you are using you cannot use the current release verison 9 software as it is not supported, however version 9.1 is scehduled to be released on June 13th and this is being made compatible with CUCM 7.1.5 and newer.

So, in answer to your quesiton, yes you can do it with V9 of CUAC but you will need to wait 2 weeks to use V9.1 for compatibility with your CUCM version.
