IM&Presence and CUCM compatibility matrix

Hi Everyone,

We are planning to upgrade IM&Presence to 10.5.1 SU3 (10.5.1.13900-2). Below our current version of our UC applications:

CUCM:

Active Master Version: 10.5.1 (10.5.1.10000-7)

IM&Presence:

Active Master Version: 10.5.1.10000-9

Correct me if I'm wrong, on CUCM and IM&Presence compatibility: IM&Presence Service and Cisco Unified Communications Manager software based versions must match regardless the patch. For example IM&Presence 10.5(1)SU3 are compatible with CUCM 10.5(1).

Your understanding is absolutely correct. You only need to make sure 10.5(2) matches at the 10.5.2 level, for any previous release, you only require to match X.Y level, like CUCM 9.1(2) and IM&P 9.1(1)
