Install SMTP connector on exchange cluster

Unity 403 failover(voicemail only) with exchange 2k cluster. We want to install SMTP connector on this system to communicate with other Unity server 403(exchagne 55 UM offbox), which is not on the same directory. How do we install SMTP connector in exchange cluster? The Networking document seems doesn't have this part. Thanks

Instead of the SMTP connector, do you mean the Voice Connector? Unfortunately, the Voice Connector does not work on an Exchange server that's in a cluster.

Microsoft does not support third-party connectors on an Exchange cluster server. The only solution is to install the Voice Connector on an Exchange server that is not in the cluster.
