Integrating Unity 8.0 with Exchange 2003

My company is still running our mail with Outlook 2003. However I am located in a new facility with Unity 8.0, and want to integrate our Exchange server with Unity. All the documentation I come across is for Exchange 2010 or 2007. Is it possible to do this with 2003? If so please send me in the right direction.

Hi,

Please check the System Requirements below:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/8x/requirements/8xcusysreq.html#wp751757

You'll see you can have an Exchange 2003 message store with Unity 8.X

"Exchange 2003 on a separate server, supported for the partner Exchange server and for storing mailboxes for Cisco Unity subscribers."

For setup and configuration you can refer to:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/8x/upgrade/guide/8xcurug050.html#wp1158125

Hi,

I have a question. My customer is looking at deploying a new Cisco Call Manager Business Edition 6000 (300 plus users) and using their existing Microsoft Exchange 2010 for Voicemail.  Is Unity Connection required (for integration with Exchange 2101) or can the customer just use Exchange 2010 for the voicemailbox ?

Can you point me to some documenttation on the integration with Exchange 2010 ?

This same customer is also looking at integrating Microsoft OCS 2007 R2 with the Cisco Call Manager solution. Again is there any documentation for this ?

Apologies but I have no experience with Microsoft and any help will be appreciated !

Thanks & regards

Yep, its possible. Please take a look at the document put together by our friend!

To integrate OCS 2007 with CUCM, the best way in my opinion would be CUCiMOC. Documentation can be found below:
