IP Communicator Constant "Select a Service Pop Up"

Hi All,

we have provisioned a new CUCM server for our lab and we have noticed that all IP Communicator instances are displaying a constant "Select a service pop up" that re-opens if closed (see attached screenshot)

We have checked that all services urls inside Enterprise Parameters and the Auto Registration Template are resolvable by the machines running communicator 

any ideas?
