Long distance restrictions

Hello experts

Are provider is somewhat new to enabling long distance restrictions in CUCM 11, so I've come here for a little guidance on what I'm requesting him to do.

-I want all public phones to be limited to local calling.

-Management phones will have ability to call worldwide.

-Client requested phones we want to have the ability to turn on/off an auth code, and additionally, be able to choose which level of long distance they will have access to.

The third option seems to be complicated. Is this possible?

Thanks

You use CSS and partitions, the basic building blocks for calling privileges in CUCM.

If you're not familiar, you should read the dial plan chapter from the SRND before any further questions, to get a clear understanding on how they work.

For the 3rd option, the out of the box options would be FAC, CMC and EM. Since you want a differentiated service level, you'd probably need to use FAC.

For 3rd party options, read here
