Maximum Number of CUPC clients for a Phone Number

Greetings, I have a user who would like to have CUPC on several (up to 20) PCs and MACs being serviced by a single phone number.  Is this possible?  What is limit?  Thanks, Beth

Hi Beth -

How are you doing?  We haven't chatted on the forum in awhile.  While I don't know the theoretical limit, I do know you can only have one CUPC session operational at a time.  We have a user working with CUPS/CUPC 8.5 and if he starts the program up on his laptop, it closes the session that was running on his PC.  Same phone extension for both.

Nice to hear from you.  I'm doing well, we have deployed over 6100 IP phones out of the 7500.  Yes, soon after I posted the question I remembered that you can have one session at a time. I have a user that is having visitors come for a launch and wanted everyone using CUPC on their laptops using one number, to save money for a temporary solution.  Hope you are doing well.  Beth
