Move CUCM/CUC 10.5(2) from ESXi 5.5 to 6.7

Hi,

We have an activity to move our CUCM and CUC 10.5 servers. from Old UCS server (ESXi 5.5) to new UCS Server (ESXi 6.7).

Plan is to upgrade our CUCM 10.5 to 12.5 from the new UCS Server (ESXi 6.7).

From the CUCM 10.5 OVA, the supported ESXi is only until 6.5. Is it still okay to run CUCM 10.5 to ESXi 6.7? Any issues in mind?

We are going to upgrade our CUCM to 12.5 after a few days.

Regards,

Flo

For your scenario I will choose PCD for CUCM. From 10.5 I  will bring it to 12.5 versions rather than moving and upgrading later.

If you do a fresh install of 12.5SU(5), Another option is to do a fresh install using exported data.

PCD doesn't support CUC migration.
