I have a system running version 3, and we are upgrading to 4, we purchased another server (Existing is an old Dell, we now have a 7835i IBM box.
Is there a way to move the greetings across? We are not concerned about the message store, where are the greeting stored on the HDD? Can we simply copy/paste? Is there a utility for this?
The existing system is plauged with SQL problems and TAC has basically told us to do a re-install.
From my understanding I can't do a DiRT from one system and restore on another.

Not sure about 3.1.5 but on 4.X I know you can do this. There is a dropdown menu on the left side of the media master bar for your greeting. Select copy to file. Then copy to the location of you choice.
Thanks,
Jason

That might prove difficult with 800+ users on the system.
I think the solution is probably going to be to DiRT the existing system and try to restore onto the new system as a 3.15 and then attempt the 4.0 upgrade.
I'd rather try to avoid that, I don't want to move corruption from one box to another.
