I have a question on the upgrade path to 8.X with WebEx. I have ordered and recieved my webex and mp liscence file through edelivery however there wasnt software to download.

When I look at PUT i am presented with some options to order and I am a little confused on what to order so I can begin installtion. I currently am running MPE 2.1.2 so is the correct path the upgrade from MPE? Do I need a schedualing server if I am using webex?

Just wondered if anyone has done a MP 8.X with WebEx installation and knows where I need to start.

Thanks

If you haven't done so already, you are going to want to get familiar with all of the changes from MPE to MP 8.5 and higher. There are a bunch in hardaware and licensing.

You can find all of the most up to date information from the links on this docwiki

http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Cisco_Unified_MeetingPlace_Release_8.5

Here is the guide for an MPE to MP8.5 migration

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/meetingplace/8_5/english/administration/migrating_mpe.html

You are going to want to order the following from PUT for your installation at a minimum.

MP8X-WB-MCS-K9-UP=

MP8X-WB-UCS-K9-UP=

MPETOMP8-UPG=
