Multiple Subscriber Names in directory

I have two users that share 1 phone (1 rep & 1 assistant), they both want their names in the directory so when people call after hours then can dial by name and get either but they only have one voicemail box. I see where you can add multiple extensions to 1 voicemail box but not the opposite.

sorry for the lame question and I know that the answer is right in front of me but I am stumped

You can't have multiple subscribers that point to the same mailbox - it's not allowed. So you're not missing something obvious, anyway...

You can have two mailboxes (with their own extensions) transfer to the same extension so folks looking them up in the directory ring the same phone but leave messages in two different boxes.
