When we recieve an external call and a person tries to transfer the call (without consultative transfer), the person who transfers the call can still hear the ringing sound even after the call has been completely transfered and the other person has picked it up. This has happened on 2 different CME routers. It just started happening and didnt use to happen before and it only appears to affect one phone.
I would really appreciate if someone can guide me in the rite direction.
Thanks,
Imran.

The two commands I have been playing with right now are the two that are in bold, currently I am getting some little success in this setup, but still the issue exists.
Any thoughts or suggestions you have on this would be of great help.
Cheers,
David.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/admin/configuration/guide/cmetrans.html
Please remove the transfer-digit command, it is optional and not required.
so now the issue is present in only transfering the calls to another CME via wan link ??
The configuration says it is consult..and so i am assuming all tests are done with consult transfer.
What is the communcation between one cme to another ? H323 ? SIP ?
I tested this on my lab setup and do not see the issue.
please send me your full config - sh run at mdaftary@cisco.com

Hi mdaftary,
I have an issue with CME/CUE Scenario,
When a call comes from outside ( PSTN ) it's directly going to aa and if the caller has requested an extension it will be forwarded with no issue but if the receipt didn't answer the call and the caller disconnected it will remain ringing on the phone. Any idea ?
and one more thing that i am having an issue with paging that if there is any internal active call and whoever made a pagging it will corrupt the active call,
Thanks in advanced.

Ali,
I recommend you also post this to the Cisco Support Community for more help with troubleshooting and problem solving.

I have the same issues on a UC560 and UC520 except:
During the call the Receptionist and the caller can still hear the ringing of the transferred call
- in my case only the receptionist here's the ringing
If the internal extension picks the call up it stops ringing
- the ringing continues regardless even if I transfer the call AND with the first call on hold, and also when I pick up the first call. Receptionist hears the ringing the whole time
Client e-mails me every single day to vent. Been working with Cisco support, but nothing yet. Next step is to run some ephone debugging which I will do on Friday.
