HI all,

I have 1 Pub and 1 Sub,  version 12.5.x, I can see that the phones are registered only to the PUB.

Any suggestions are very appreciated.

thanks.

How is the device pool for your phones configured?  Specifically what is the "Cisco Unified Communications Manager Group" that is defined in the device pool and does that group specify that the Pub is first (primary) and the Sub is second (secondary)?  Do you even want your pub to have phones register to it, either as primary or secondary?

What do you have configured for that?

And what troubleshooting have you done so far?

Check services on SUB. They should be Activated.

Is it production or lab setup?

If production then PUB should not be used to register phones. Remove it from Call Manager group and also Deactivate CM Service on it. For redundancy, add/install another subscriber in the cluster.

If it is lab, then try moving SUB above PUB, in the Call Manager Group.

Best Practice is to not register any phones with PUB.
