If you have chosen None in Voice Mail Profile at the DN level, then it should take the Default Voice Mail Profile to reach CUC. Can you please ensure that you have checked the Voicemail Box at the DN level against Forward No Answer Internal, External etc and have not assigned a number in the Destination field.
If the above is correct ,then run Port Status Monitor on CUC to check what exactly is happening. BTW is it happening for all the DNs or a specific one

well "none" profile and "default" profile are working fine as i can choose the voice mail pilot number that we normally use , the problem is with "novoicemail" profile as i cant choose a voice mail pilot number?
-yes there isnt a number assigned in the destination field
-it happens on all phones with "novoicemail" profile and have voice mail box checked for forwarding
i think the problem i need to know what is the voice mail pilot number being used when "novoicemail" is chosen??? if it isnt specified what is usually the number used for voice mail pilot???

Please note NoVoiceMail is a special profile used by the system for devices that do not or should not have Voice Mail associated with them. This profile cannot be modified or deleted, but you can make this the default Voice Mail Profile for the system.
Hence, if you want the voicemail functionality for these users to work as well, then change it from NoVoiceMail to either none or some other working voicemail profile and it will work then.

of course that is the logical thing , but im curious why "novoicemail" is directing the phone to some strange outside autoanswer number? how this voice mail pilot number got inserted and how to remove it?

Well ideally it should not behave like this since there is no option to associate any VM pilot to that particular profile. Anyways, you can use BAT to change it for large of phones there. Bulk Administration >> User Device Profiles >> Add/Update Lines >> Update Lines
