port 445 and cucm

Can I upgrade the esxi on the below , any dependency issue ?

Second thing  , why the port 445 is opened in cucm

what service is running 

Auditing company says  445 has opened

You can upgrade the VMware.

Check the comparability of cucm with VMware

Hi 

It says supported up to 6.7  and in bracket says  "does not apply to esxi version upgrades" 

The reason for upgrading existing esxi 6.0   is vulnerable to  medium strength ciphers

Apart from the answer by @Nithin Eluvathingal you should also check the compatibility of your UCS system with the version of VMware that you intend to upgrade to. To know more on that see this page UCS Hardware and Software Compatibility
