Presence integration with CUCM ver10

I am implementing a new CUCM ver10 platform.

CUCM and Unity  servers are running OK  and they are integrated via LDAP to customer Active Directory, but I have problems implementing the new IM & Presence server v10.

On CUCM I didn't find a way to add new IM & Presence server as "Application Server" ( CUPS option is not available), although I have created a SIP trunk to connect CUCM to new IM & Presence server, when I try to complete IM & Presense installation I got an error on integration to CUCM ( see attached file "error presence.png").

Do you know:

a) what can be missing here?

b) a proper IM & Presence and CUCM v10 integration procedure?

IM&P are SUBs of CUCM in 10.X+, add them as you would do with a CUCM SUB.

FYI, the SIP trunk has never been a pre-requisite to install CUPS/IM&P. That's configured AFTER it has been installed.

If I have to add this Presence server ver10 as a Subscriber server, I think I am missing something because when I tried to integrate this IM & Presence with CUCM I got the error showed on attached file ( error_presence.png).

I have total connectivity with CUCM and Unity server, but during this IM & Presence installation i was unable to establish required integration with CUCM.

Do you have the permissions for that page to get the Application server option?

In CUCM 10, look for.

System > Application Server

And there you should be able to configure the entry.

When I went to:

System > Application Server

I did not have option to add a CUPS, as you can see on attached file "error_adding_im.jpg"...so I was unable to add IM & Presence server as "Application Server"

I think I missed something..or I am not using proper procedure for ver 10.

2.       Can you make sure you use the same security password for CUCM installation and
CUP installation?



3.       Can you make sure there is no firewall between the CUCM publisher and the CUP
server being installed?



4.       If the installation still fails, can you follow this procedure and capture the
install logs from the CUP server:

You will need to add the server instance as it is a subscriber for the cucm cluster as pero Jaime Valencia said before.

Here it is my error....I tried to add IM & Presence as an Application Server, so I have to add it as a member of CUCM group (as I understood from Mr Valencia).

It is the same password

I am on a customer network, I will verify it.

As Jaime told 1st time, this Presence server has to be added as Subscriber...

I was trying to added as a App Server ( like I did it on ver 9+)..

Sorry for my late answer but I was sick these days.
