Prime Collaboration 10.6 new Install issues.

Hi,

Have installed 10.6 and trying to get my head round some issues :

1. I have found a Service pack but can't load it, although very thing is in place :

lg-spes-cpa01/admin# sh repository upgrade
cpc-assurance-patchbundle-10.6.0.58162-1.x86-64.tar.gz
lg-spes-cpa01/admin# application upgrade cpc-assurance-patchbundle-10.6.0.58162-1.x86-64.tar.gz upgrade
Save the current ADE-OS running configuration? (yes/no) [yes] ? yes
Generating configuration...
Saved the ADE-OS running configuration to startup successfully
Initiating Application Upgrade...
% Remote file not found
lg-spes-cpa01/admin#

As we have now lost root access I can see no way to load the file locally, I tried :

lg-spes-cpa01/admin# copy sftp://10.124.128.34/CUCM_ISO/Prime/cpc-assurance-patchbundle-10.6.0.58162-1.x86-64.tar.gz disk:/localdisk
Username: cucmsftp
Password:
% Error: Transfer failed

But suspect this maybe caught up in the same error as above.

2. Added a new user but they dont see the CUCM which I have added under Globaladmin

3. Also, backup works but the restore does not, because it does not like the url define in the repository "invalid characaters"

lg-spes-cpa01/admin(config-Repository)#   url sftp://10.124.128.34/PCA_Backup

which I can only take to be the "/" as it is not in the list displayed, of acceptable characaters, in the error

Any comments appreicated

Ian

I have also tried the following :

lg-spes-cpa01/admin# patch install cpc-assurance-patchbundle-10.6.0.58162-1.x86-64.tar.gz upgrade
Save the current ADE-OS running configuration? (yes/no) [yes] ? yes
Generating configuration...
Saved the ADE-OS running configuration to startup successfully
Initiating Application Patch installation...
% Remote file not found
lg-spes-cpa01/admin#

Have now loaded the patch via a TFTP url and updated too the patch.

However tis has not fixed point 2, my added user can not see the CUCM added.

Can you explain better the point 2? Are you talking about the jtapi user?

Tnx

Arthur

Hi,

Under Globaladmin, I added our 10.5 UCM Cluster and go to Home and select to see the status.

I have then created two users under User Mangement.

When I go to Home, they have no UCM Cluster to view. Also no cluster in UC CLuster Status,

they see the Log's

Hope this helps

Ian

Hi

Now I understand the point.

  1. Login with globalamdin user to CPC
  2. Go to Administration - User management
  3. Identify the two users that you created
  4. In the column Assurance Domains make sure you have the selected all domains

For add more Assurance Domains for the users:

  1. Select a User
  2. click on Edit
  3. select Assurance Domain and select all domains
  4. Click Save

I hope will be helpful

Arthur

Hi

Thanks for the update but there is no domain option, as shown in the attached.

Ian

Hi Ian

Did you resolve the problem? I think that you should open a cisco case with the TAC

Arthur
