Pushing Contact list to IP Phones

Hi every one, i need to know that is there any way to push down a contact list to cisco ip phones via call manager or something else so users dont need to create contact list on their phone manually and alos   is there a feature like auto entering some one name on ip phone and then phone auto complete the name for dialing( something like a feature that our cellphones contact list has)      we are using CUCM 8.6 and also Cisco unity connection 8.X   thanks

I dnt think auto complete the name is supported.

Hi,

you can look for some third party solutions that allows create any number of directories and even sync them with another systems (e.g. MS Exchange, LDAP, Gmail ...).

Also do not expect the auto complete there, searches allow to search for part of the contact - that is limitation of phone fetures (I suppose Cius is differend story ...). However you can find something like IntelliSearch - that allows you to pres a key once and this click represents each character on the key (somethink like T9 on mobile phones).
