Question: CUCM H.323 Gateway Incoming Calling Party Settings direction

Hi Cisco community,

my question is, when are the "Incoming Calling Party Settings" (Number Type prefixes) in the H.323 Gateway configuration are applied.

Is it for calls originating from CUCM or is it applied to ANIs of calls originating from the Gateway towards the Call Manager.

Great question. It's the latter. Any gateway/trunk setting that explicitly states 'incoming' refers to calls being sent to CUCM (gateway -> cucm).
