Renewing ESW

Hi,

We would like to do an upgrade on our existing Call manager to version 9 from version 7.1.5. We have purchased the 3 years UCSS (which has another 2 more years to go) but we have an expiring ESW (expiring in a month or 2). What are the part number which we should be ordering to renew the ESW? I've seen from some forums that people are suggesting to go for the UCSS Reinstatement for the renewal. But i was quoted with R-CUCM-USR-LIC by my vendor. I'm a little bit confused.

Hi,

You do not have to reinstate UCSS as your UCSS /ESW has not expired.  You simply have to renew the ESW.  This would be attach to your software product ids (such as a LIC-CUCM-USR).
