A colleague recently changed the admin password to the CUCM Web application, unfortunately the password that was provided does not seem to be the password that was saved when they were changed as no one can log into the application now. As such I need to reset the web application password without access to the web application itself.
I have found other posts that refer to updating the sql database with a provided string to change the password to ciscocisco, however these were not for CUCM8. Can anyone confirm what the CLI command is in CUCM8 to reset this password to a default that I can use to log in? Thank you.

I covered that in my FAQ

Hey Jaime - that's a nice initiative! I wandered onto this post and found that URL.
Probably need to advertise it more (may be on a relevant place here in CSC as well - if not already done?) so that everyone can benefit from it - its a huge compilation and up to date with hot issues. Nice Work.

Hey Terry,
I'm already working with the CSC guys in order to make it more visible for the users, I created a little blog with the link, but we're trying to find a way in which it can help more people and gain more traction.
So far it seems that it's already reaching a good number of people, I've seen people referencing it here for answers, to validate the info on PDI cases, and received a few emails about clarification on the questions.
Still have more info I want to get into it, but been pretty busy lately re-building my lab.
