Silent call on external

Hello all ,

I need your help 

I have a problem with Silent call on external for some devices Cisco 7821.

The SIP call is silent at the start of the communication (the first 3 seconds) after, the audio is work fine.

When we answer with the head speaker of the phone we don't have this problem and the audio work fine since the beginning of the call.

Do you have any ideas about this behaviour ? Could you tell us where this problem comes from?

Dear akramroot,

Thanks for your post. These types of problems are usually network related. However, from what you are describing, if this is not happening when using the speaker. Make sure the devices are running the latest firmware available.

The best course of action here would be to open a TAC case to perform an investigation. The troubleshooting for this issue may require to obatin, simultaneously, OTA (Over The Air) captures from the Access Point, PRT from the device and CCM Traces from CallManager.
