Our customer is having a scenario in which our CUCM is having a 2811 router with PVDMs as the gateway. Here we have connected to a 3rd party SIP proxy server in Middle east through a SIP Trunk and between the sites we are having MPLS connectivity.So my questions are,
1, Whether the router conncted to MPLS cloud should be a Voice enabled Router or not? Am new to the setup, and cant rectify my doubt as customer is not giving access to the end router.
2, Whether we require software MTP's to be assigned to the trunk.
3, Do we require the end point's ip's at both end to have ping (Ip Phone). Means Ip of the Ip Phone at location A should ping the Ip address of the Ip phone at Location B when these Ip's are assigned to laptops?
Please help out to clear the queries.
